About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together to support hungry people in our local area.
We are open twice a week and provide a place of welcome and a listening ear for anyone in need of help. We regularly support around 150 people every week with emergency food and signposting to other agencies in the town to help them through their crisis.
We rely on the amazing contribution of our volunteers who give up their time to help people in our community who are struggling. As one of our volunteers says, “We are Hartlepool people helping Hartlepool people”
